Graduate School Coaching and Mentorship
Kristin Yoshiko Dattoria (Ladd) has 10+ years of experience as a graduate student in Masters programs and applicant for several programs including MAT Bilingual Education at the Universidad de Alcala in Madrid, Spain, MA English Literature at Utah State University, and MS Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) at California State University, Northridge both in in-person and online formats.
She has experience with the finding programs that fit your life goals, finances, time frame, etc., taking the GRE and SLP Praxis, writing and editing personal essays, grad school application management, online programs, in-person programs, seeking letters of recommendation, CSDCAS for Communication Sciences and Disorders programs, and mentoring students in graduate school.
Her most recent graduate experience led her to a career in speech-language pathology. One aspect of this career that she loves is mentorship at all stages. As a second generation graduate student, she realized that without the mentorship from her family, friends, and colleagues she would not be where she is today. She feels strongly about the power of mentorship, networking, and sharing knowledge in getting you to your next step on your journey.

Applying to Graduate School Mentorship
1:1 Coaching Sessions (.5 to 2 hours)
Are you all feeling a little lost about what the first step is in applying to a Masters program or know the general direction, but feeling overwhelmed? My 1:1 coaching sessions include, but are not limited to, applying to graduate school including seeking letters of recommendation, writing personal essays, what to think about when choosing a program, and the GRE with tailoring to your specific needs.*
$25 per hour
Schedule at your leisure for a video chat or phone call. Sessions are held primarily in the evenings, during "happy hour", and on weekends. Email kristinyladd@gmail.com with your name, email or phone number, what program you're applying to, any specific goals you have for our session, and any questions you have.
Extras: You can also sign up for extras such as templates for organizing your program list for yourself and recommenders and resume example for a flat rate of $5 per template, or revising personal statements and resumes for $10/hr.
Group Coaching Sessions (1 to 2 hours)
2 to 4 people applying to similar program
Do you have friends or classmates that are applying to similar programs? Are you all feeling a little lost about what the first step is? Split the cost and attend a Group Coaching about applying to graduate school including seeking letters of recommendation, writing personal essays, what to think about when choosing a program, and the GRE.*
$30 per hour
